New Catalog Is Out!!!

The 2013-14 Stampin' Up Catalog is out and you're gonna love it!  So many cute ideas I can't decide what to do next.  I am going to try to make a link here but if it doesn't work you can always go to the catalog at my Stampin' Up Website at www.lyndafalconer.stampinup.net

So far the Gingham Garden Designer Paper and new In Colors are my favorites but there are so many possibilities I can't get to them fast enough!  If you're close by, join us for monthly workshops or the upcoming Scrap Diva Day Camp in July (TBA).

Mojo Monday 297

Here's my first attempt at a Mojo Monday challenge from
mojomonday.blogspot.com.  I used Stampin' Up's Gingham Garden and new vintage buttons to bring on the sunshine!  Hope you like it.
Need feedback on good cameras for posting pics on web.  My cell phone pics just don't translate well.  I have an iphone 5 and it takes good pics.

SU's Gingham Garden Card

Love, love, love Stampin' Up's new Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper!  Made a fun birthday card from a design by Jana Edward's of Jana's Creations.  Then I used scraps to make name tags for my outgoing orders.  Too fun!  Love the summery feel!

Stampin' Up Summer Journal is a Hit!

We had so much fun making Summer Travel Journals with Stampin' Up's pop bottle caps and Collage Curios stamp set!  I found the hard back journals at Wal-Mart for $2.77 each.  I tried the Crockpot Lasagna recipe shared by my Facebook friends - so yummy!  Great friends, good food, and of course crafting made for the perfect summer evening!

I'm ready for another workshop!  Thinking a Scrap Diva Day Camp might be fun for July.  We could have somores, arts and crafts, camp party favors, contests, scrapbooking, make and takes - Diva style - no bugs, snakes, and fully air conditioned!  Has anybody done something like that?  Would love to hear about it!

Tornado Missed Us in OKC!

I was at my mom's in Oklahoma City when the El Reno tornado hit.  The sirens went off so we spent about an hour in her cellar with my uncle, brother, 2 neighbors, and 2 dogs.  We watched the storm turn away from us on the radar on my brother's computer and could get live feeds from the news reporters.  We could never really hear the storm and the electricity stayed on so morale was high and we actually enjoyed visiting with everyone while we waited.  My mom had just had major surgery so but the pain killers seemed to keep her happy and she did just fine.  We emerged after the storm to a flooded street and yard caused by 6-8 inches of rain.  My sister left her car at mom's and as you can see the water was over the tires  (the cup holders were full of water inside the next morning).  We were very lucky.  Not everyone was.  I believe at least 8 people lost their lives that night.  Please continue your prayers and assistance to the people of Oklahoma City affected by numerous storms this year.  Many are still hurting and struggling to recover from the devestation.
